Sometimes, women get tired of wearing casual clothing every day and miss dressing up. This is also true for accessories like watches. In order to satisfy this desire, watchmaking companies create dressy timepieces, such as Zenith Starissime watch.
The timepiece has a decidedly holiday-like appearance. Its bezel, strap lugs and both sides of the case are set with sparkling baguette diamonds, while bold oversized Arabic numerals are covered with round jewels. The black mother of pearl dial of the Zenith Starissime has a star-shaped aperture at nine o’clock through which the Zenith El Primero 4043 caliber can be admired.
The extraordinary 461-component mechanical movement features one of the greatest horological complications, the minute repeater. This complication makes it unnecessary to look at the dial of the Zenith Starissime to find out what time it is – the watch itself tells time audibly. The ticking masterpiece with a white gold rotor set with diamonds can also be admired through a sapphire crystal exhibition back. Just as beautiful as it is functional, the movement provides a 50-hour power reserve, and beats 5 times a second, or 36000 times per hour.
The white gold case of the timepiece protects the movement from water to a depth of 30 m, though the Zenith Starissime is hardly the kind of watch to swim with. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The Zenith Starissime watch comes with an exotic black shagreen strap made from stingray skin. A triple-deployant clasp crafted from white gold ensures firm and comfortable fitting.
