This bezel can turn only counterclockwise so in case of any accidental rotation underwater the time measured is longer, rather than shorter, than the actual elapsed time.
The round case surrounds the dial of the watch featuring the date display window at 3 o’clock and three sub dials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. Those counters display the 12-hour and 30-minute time, as well as the seconds. A pair of large sword-shaped hands marks the time. Due to their luminous coating, the time can be read even in the dark. A strong scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial.
The Baume & Mercier CapeLand Quartz Chronograph watch is offered in a number of versions. The watch comes with a silver dial with black chronograph sub-dials, as well as with a black dial with white counters.
