Instrument BR03 Type Aviation watch model was presented by Hamilton in 2008. The model was developed specially for Stéphane Abrial, the Commander of Allied Command Transformation and one of the two NATO strategic commands. The watch was released in two limited editions. Each of the editions comprises 520 watches.
The model comes in two versions: one with stainless steel case with rubber strap and the second with stainless steel case and textile strap. Both versions are powered by a precise quartz multifunctional mechanism. The timepieces are characterized by highly readable indication. Instrument BR03 Type Aviation watches feature a rotating bezel. The dial of the watches is decorated with the logo of French Air Forces. The timepieces are water resistant to 100 meters.
Also in 2008 Bell & Ross presented its new Instrument BR 01 Toubillon Gold that was released in a limited edition. Instrument BR 01 Toubillon Gold comes in three versions: gold case and carbon dial, two color case (pink gold and titanium) and diamond like carbon coating, pink gold case with aluminium dial. The watches are 46 mm in diameter. Water resistant to 100 meters. Instrument BR 01 Toubillon Gold has a power reserve of 120 hours and a minute tourbillon.
